November 8th and 9th

Wow, what a busy few days. I have a few things to catch up on now. Let's start in on the fun.

36) Store Sales - For working at Crate & Barrel we get a special extra discount for the holidays and today I got to get some gifts for others and myself. I have to admit I really liked that. I love shopping. It felt good to do some retail therapy.

37) The nice customer today - This adorable lady today was so sweet to me. She continually complimented me on both my color theory usage as well as my good customer service. It totally made my day. I was so happy she took the time to tell me how I was making her happy.

38) My first trunk show - Tonight I was able to get together with a friend and try to plan out my first trunk show. I am very excited for it. It should be a fun time. She will provide the friends and drinks and I get to just how off my jewelry. A perfect match made in heaven.

39) Being bold - I was happy to say that yesterday I woke up with a kick in my pants and started to email stores to see if they wanted to take me on for consignment. I was happy to say that two stores have already wrote back wanting to see my work and I can't wait to be able to show them and hopefully get some more stores to carry my work.

40) Being productive - I was able to finally sit down  yesterday to make a few of the pieces I have had in my head for a while now. It is such a pleasure to get out the creative bit you have had stuffed up for a while.

41) Concerned people - I was touched at how many people have noticed I am feeling better. It is really sweet to see how these people I interact in a daily environment care enough about my health to ask me about it.

42) Motivation - For some reason getting my act together has made me more focused and ready to take on the problems of the day. I can't complain and rather enjoy trying to get on top of the ball.

43) New teas - I am a tea fanatic. My favorite part of fall is that fact that I get to drink hot tea again. This is one of my joys of life and I will always look forward to this part of the weather cooling down.

44) My Bonsai tree- The fact I have not killed this little shrub is amazing! He makes me feel like you can never know when something is down for the count or just biding their time to make a comeback. In some ways I kind of feel like that little tree but the good news is that we are both out of that cycle and are on to better times.

45) My tarot class tomorrow- I can't wait! I have wanted to be trained to learn how to read tarot for so long. I can't wait to learn how to properly read it and be able to help people. (Wait just 4 more weeks and I can read your cards for you.)

Okay off to bed with me and I will keep the list going soon.
