After writing the post about what November will be focusing on I was sort of unhappy with it. I have been thinking about what I would really want November to be about and have decided to change my mind.
I have thought long about how I am feeling and how can I change my outlook for the better. I remember seeing ages ago a way to make good things come to you. It was the simplest way to change the energy of the universe and start to have blessings show their faces. All it was was simply to count your blessings already and you will soon have more to count. So with that in mind I am going to count 5 things I am thankful for for everyday in November. I am actually really excited about this for the month. So now I am already 5 days behind so here I go.
1) My Mom - I am know I am so lucky to have a Mom as amazing as mine. She has been so supportive of everything I have wanted to do and be my whole life. She is a great example of a kind, sweet, loving mother and I am so lucky to have her as mine. I hope that when I become a Mom I could be half as good as her.
2) My Dad - He is such a loving man. He is there when I need him and always does his best to take care of his girls anyway he can. I am so happy he sacrificed so much for me growing up and helped me become the lady I am today.
3) My sisters - I know we all may have our differences sometimes but I know no matter what both of you will be there for me no matter what happens. When I have needed either of you both of you have been there for me. I am thankful that we are in each other's lives and I am happy we all will always have each other.
4) My boyfriend - I am so thankful to have found a man like you. I know we are pretty low key in public but I couldn't leave you off my list of thankfulness as I feel so blessed to have you in my life. I think you are an amazing man and I love every minute I spend with you. You have really helped to push me in my own life to try and find out how great I can be in my own right. I simply am so happy with you and I can't wait to see what the future will hold for us.
5) My dog, Ginger - I know she can't read so I will keep it short but that little mutt really makes me so happy. She loves me no matter what and I couldn't be happier to have her. I feel like my life would not be as full without her in it. I even love her when she snores.
6) My health - I know I am down about not feeling well but in the end I can walk, talk and do almost all my daily activities. I have to be thankful for that.
7) My business - I know I am blessed to be able to purse my dreams. Ever since I was little I have always wanted to makes sterling silver gemstone jewelry. I have been so lucky to have success with my work now and I only look forward to where this is going to take me.
8) My friends - I feel amazing that I have such great true friends in my life. Each one of you knows me inside and out and loves me just the way I am. I couldn't feel more happy about that. We have had to bridge the gaps in distance and time zones but our friendships have continued and my life is fuller because of it.
9) My strength - I am thankful I have faced everything I have gone through and lived through it. From bad coaches, a horrible spouse, Division I basketball training to the good of a trip through Italy by myself. I am thankful that I have gotten through challenges with more character then a girl could use.
10) My Grandma from the White House - She loved me whole heartedly. I know she would have done anything for me. She still watches out over me. I know I feel her. I still talk to her sometimes on my walks with Ginger. It isn't the same as I have to do her one liners for her but I know she has looked down on me and knows what is going on in my life. I am thankful for the time I had with her and I wished I started to call her every day sooner.
11) My Grandma from the Train - She was an inspiration to me. I know she loved that I went to Italy. I felt like she was with me on that trip. It made me so happy when my Dad compared me to her on my first day in Italy. I felt like that was a HUGE compliment. I think she was such a strong amazing women to be a bit like her is an accomplishment.
12) The Spinebreakers - I do love my book club. It makes me so happy we have been able to meet every month for almost a year. It brings a rhythm to my life and I always feel like I have learned something about the amazing women in it after every meeting.
13) My apartment - I love having a place to call my own. I am grateful that I get to live in a great environment.
14) My roommate - Living with a stranger can always be hard but She makes it so easy. I am happy everything worked out and now our home environment is very good. I think she is an amazing women and I am happy to share my home with her.
15) My studio space - It has been so great to be able to have a studio in the city. I am very happy that I can now walk to work and I look forward to using it more efficiently these coming months.
16) When my Mom puppysits - I am always so thankful that my mom will take over the role of Bubbe with my little dog when I have to go somewhere. It makes me feel good to know that Ginger is looked after and loved while I'm gone.
17) My job at Crate & Barrel - I am so happy that my co-workers are all nice people. I have such a good time chatting with them all. They are sweet caring people and I am lucky to be able to have them in my life.
18) My new computer - I do love him. I love that I now have my design programs and can be a fully functioning designer again now.
19) My car, Franklin - I know we just met but you have been a great dude so far. I look forward to having a great time with you for a while.
20) Living in Philly - For all your faults I can still say that you are a great city. I love the restaurants and the vibe of the city. I am happy I get to run around you all the time!
21) My neighborhood - I am happy that I live in a place where my neighbors say hello and are kind to me. Most of all they tell me how cute my dog is which is the most important thing if you ask me.
22) My day today - I had asked my dear friend Susan to come to Sugarloaf Craft Festival today and she agreed without a hesitation. I love that she is always up for anything and will go on these fun days with me no questions asked.
23) My trip to Italy - That trip was one of the best things I got to do in my life. I couldn't have been happier on it. I got to spend some quality time with myself and I was able to really enjoy a country I have wanted to go to my entire life. (I want to go back now more then anything!
